The government has announced £32.5 of matched funding, which truck stops can apply for to improve facilities for HGV drivers.

Road minister, Richard Holden, said that “for decades, our truckers have had a raw deal when it comes to decent roadside facilities.” For drivers, having somewhere safe and comfortable to stop is essential, so this is great news for the industry!

We look forward to seeing this funding dramatically improve facilities for drivers in the near future!
