The DfT has introduced a new temporary relaxation of the enforcement of the EU drivers’ hours rules to reflect the urgent situation arising from the cancellation of some ferry services.

The relaxation of the rules applies from 12:01am on 9 April 2022 until 11:59pm on 8 May 2022.
