Convey celebrates 10 years supporting UK fleet compliance

Convey Technology is marking its 10-year anniversary this year, celebrating a decade of supporting transport operators with driver and vehicle compliance management and reaching an important milestone in the company’s development.
Founded in 2016 by Steve Fisher, Convey was created to give fleet operators a clearer way to manage driver and vehicle compliance through a modern web-based platform.
Steve’s background in transport compliance software spans more than three decades. Before launching Convey, he founded Exentra in 1995, developing tachograph analysis systems before creating the Smartanalysis platform, which later became widely used across the UK transport sector.
From the beginning, Steve brought together a team with extensive experience from across the transport and logistics industry, combining technical software expertise with deep operational knowledge of compliance and fleet management.
That experience has played a key role in shaping the development of the Convey platform and supporting the company’s steady growth over the past decade.
Since its launch, the platform has continued to evolve alongside the transport sector itself, adapting to regulatory changes, increasing digitalisation and the growing operational pressures faced by fleet operators.
Steve Fisher, Founder and CEO of Convey Technology, said:

“Having worked in transport compliance software for many years, I’ve seen first-hand how the industry has evolved and how the demands placed on operators have increased.
When we started Convey, the intention was to build a modern platform that helps operators manage driver and vehicle compliance in a practical and reliable way, using technology that supports the realities of running a fleet.
Reaching our ten-year anniversary is something the whole team is very proud of. We’ve built the business around listening to operators and developing solutions that genuinely support them, and that approach will continue to guide how we develop the platform in the years ahead.”
The anniversary comes during a period of continued development for the business. In late 2025, Convey secured a strategic minority investment from Tresmares Capital to support the next stage of its growth, enabling further investment in the platform and the company.
As Convey enters its second decade, the business is also preparing to open a new office in Coventry. The new location will act as a central hub where the team will host partner and customer events, provide training to help operators get the most from the platform, and continue to strengthen relationships across the sector.
The expansion reflects the company’s continued growth with further development planned for both the platform and the team.
